Happy Friday! I came across this designer challenge in the Pixelscrapper forum and decided to take a shot at it. The idea was for metallic – gold, silver, bronze – floral papers and elements. No other details, so I went with some floral overlays and basic elements.

The overlays are full size 12×12 pngs. I used Sheila Reid’s Vintage Heat Embossed Foil Styles on some of my floral patterns and I think they turned out rather lovely. I really love Sheila’s layer styles. I use them all the time.

Since I didn’t have a lot of time to go wild on elements, I went with some basics. The vintage birdhouses were calling my name! I used Sheila’s Vintage Heat Embossed Foil Styles on the hearts and ribbons. I used her Gold Leaf Foil Styles on the birdcage, flower and word bit. Then altered the colors to get the silver and copper (as close as I could get to copper anyway!).

Hope you can find use for these. If so, I’d love to see your creations. You can drop by my Facebook anytime and share.
Have a great weekend!
